Midoco Art & Office Supplies, owned and operated by Michael and Cecile Cramer and family, opened its first location in January 1978 in the Yonge and Lawrence neighbourhood.
Through hard work and sacrifice, they succeeded in opening a second store in The Beach (or “Beaches”, as it was known at the time) in 1983 and a third location, in The Annex, in 1987. After 17 years, the Cramers decided to close the Yonge street location so that they could focus their energy and resources on the other two locations. In November of 2015, the newest Midoco location opened at Broadview and Danforth.
Midoco comprises four main departments: Art Supplies, Office Products, Toy & Craft Supplies and Giftware. Midoco’s purchasing department enthusiastically seeks out new and exciting products and the arrival of fresh and innovative goods is eagerly anticipated by their customers.
