Pawsitively Pets

We hired pawsitively pets for a joint birthday for my son’s 1st and 4th birthdays. They were really easy to arrange things with in advance, and sent a questionnaire so that we could request certain animals. The handler showed up on time and got everything all set up. We had a large number of kids ranging in age from 1-5 and they were all totally captivated for the hour long presentation (so were most of the parents!). The handler would take the animals out one at a time, tell the kids a bit about them and some interesting facts, and then carry them around the room for the kids to pat or hold. The birthday boys always got the first pat which made them feel special, but they made sure that all kids got a turn. The highlight was the end when each kid got to put the snake around their neck. And then she packed all the animals up and left with no mess left behind! I would note that they do require the animal presentation be inside with air conditioning, unless it is a very precise temperature outside. They also requested that parking be provided nearby as they need to bring the animals in from the car. We also attended a party at their facility hosted by anther family and it was also great! Lots of room for cake and they do a craft with the kids before the animal presentation. Overall a great experience and would certainly recommend without hesitation!
