Toronto Humane Society

Do you have a child with a birthday coming up? Why not celebrate with some furry friends at the Toronto Humane Society?! Birthday parties are a fun way to celebrate growing another year older, while also learning about empathy and respect for animals.

Age Range:

Birthday parties are suitable for children aged 4 and up

Maximum Capacity:

10 kids, there is a charge of $15 for each additional child up to 15 children

Party Packages:

Birthday parties are two hours in length
Birthday parties will take place on Saturdays at the following times:
11am – 1pm
2:30pm – 4:30pm
Birthday party packages include 10 children, 
At least two adults must remain with the birthday party group
The total number of people (including children and adults) cannot exceed 20
Step 1: Choose your Party Itinerary

Option A: Ideal for children 7 and up

• 1 hour tour visiting all of the animals at the Toronto Humane Society
• 30 minute celebration of the birthday child (i.e. food and gift opening)
• 20 minute visit with approved shelter animal(s)
• 10 minutes for wrap up

Option B: Ideal for little ones or craft lovers

• 30 minute mini-tour to visit the animals at the Toronto Humane Society
• 30 minutes of animal themed crafts and/or games
• 30 minute celebration of the birthday child (i.e. food and gift opening)
• 20 minute visit with approved shelter animal(s)
• 10 minutes for wrap up

Step 2: Choose your Party Package
Pawsome Party Package ($300)

• 2 hours in our decorated private party room
• 1-2 THS staff “fun facilitators”
• One of our Party Itinerary options (above)
• Party decorations including: “Happy Birthday!” banner, plastic table cloths, THS party hats for each child, plastic plates, napkins, and plastic cutlery
• Cake server, candles and lighter
• Gift package for the birthday child, including: temporary tattoo, pencil and eraser, puppy notepad, colouring book, and THS stuffy

Note: this package does not include food options. Parents/guardians are welcome to bring lunch/snacks/cake as desired. A refrigerator and cake serving materials are provided.

Doggone Deluxe Package ($425)

• Everything in the “Pawsome Party” Package
• Personalized birthday cake in chocolate or vanilla
• Ordered pizza and juice boxes
• Lootbags for each child including: THS pencil and eraser, temporary tattoo, stickers, and colouring book
• Cake knife, cake server, candles and lighter
